IPC holds third media tweet conference on transparency

Furtherance to its efforts towards deepening the role of the media in transparency, the International Press Centre (IPC), Lagos held another media tweet conference on May 31, 2016 with the theme: The State of Transparency and Accountability in Nigeria: Issues for Media Digest and Understanding.

This third tweet-a-thon series of the project with hashtag #Media4T, an activity under a Media Transparency Watch project being implemented by the International Press Centre (IPC) with the funding support of the United States Consulate General in Lagos.

The Speakers at the event were Jake Effoduh, Programme Officer of the Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-Corruption (PACAC), who represented the Executive Secretary PACAC, Eze Anaba, Deputy Editor Vanguard Newspaper and Sekina Lawal, Chairperson Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ).
